What can I expect after lip fillers?
Your lip filler treatment results should be visible immediately. Your lips may appear very puffy and swollen, sensitive, and bruised during the first few days after lip fillers. This is normal and will subside over time. Your final results should be visible after 3 to 5 days.
What are the risks of lip fillers?
Getting lip fillers poses some risks including bleeding, pain, and bruising at the injections sites. Scarring and infection are also possible with lip filler injections, but these risks are minimal.
Do lip fillers hurt?
Most patients report feeling minimal or pain during they lip filler treatments. A numbing cream can be applied to the lips before the treatment to minimize any pain or discomfort felt during the treatment. Your lips may be sensitive after your treatment, but this should subside after 12 to 24 hours.
What is the lip filler recovery time?
Recovery time for lip filler treatments is very minimal. Your lips may be swollen, sensitive, or bruised after lip filler treatment, but this should go away within a couple of days after treatment.
